One of the most difficult tasks for a photographer is to shoot a couple who's personalities are on a different point on the Personality Spectrum then their own. For instance, I'm super happy, upbeat, chatty, and I make tons of puns. Hannah & Beau are soft-spoken, quiet, sweet, and have an intimate and personal romance. Being able to showcase that was helped immensely by the fog, the mountains, the quiet morning that surrounded us, and the reminder to me that my job was to let them be themselves, and capture them just the way they were.
These images, for me, represent the sweet and delicate nature of the relationship Hannah & Beau share. They light up for one another, becoming warmer and smiling wider the closer they were-so we made sure to let them stay nice and close the entire shoot.
I adored our morning with them, and can't wait to capture their wedding later this year. <3
Special thank you to our absolutely AMAZING makeup artist, Shasta Hankins. Her work always stuns me, and I love that my brides always walk out of her studio completely confident and feeling beautiful. It completely MAKES the shoot for me. Check her out, and keep tabs on her through her facebook. And don't forget to book her for your wedding!
You'll notice several images in our gallery were taken by our amazing and talented Intern, Tori Fancher. Watching this girl grow and push herself every shoot has been absolutely enthralling for us, and we're so excited to watch her flourish with every shoot she does. We consider it the highest compliment to present excellent work to our clientele via our website and blog, and Tori has definitely earned the right to have several amazing shots presented. All shots were edited by Stephanie, but it's important to emphasize that no amount of editing can make a great image--it takes the eye of an artist. Great job, Tori!!!
